Crossing Paths

September 9, 2010

I still see you behind my eyes,
playing conductor, driving me
to a stop that’s been gone
for years. I know these
empty spaces far better
then I want, then I should,
finding my way back again
faster and faster, you
always my guide, even if
you’re gone when I arrive,
as we keep running circles
around each other.

  1. I enjoyed reading your poem…I love the way you present the ‘crossing paths’…a fine poem.
